The Association of Private Pet Cemeteries & Crematoria is the largest and longest established pet bereavement trade association within the UK and is STILL the only organisation in the UK setting standards for the cremation and burial of pets, with all members adhering to a code of practice and offering pet owners a GENUINE individual service.
Many UK vets are contracted to large disposal firms. These companies often have appealing names that have glossy brochures and slick which belie the true nature of their operations. The general public that request an individual service for their pet are more often than not unaware of where their pet is being sent and how they will be treated.
